Covalence, Rarefraction

Alexander Bondoc is a Queens-based visual artist whose work takes on different forms to explore abjection, phenomenology, and the Queered body. Their recent research is focused around cross-cultural nail-art politic and the ways in which the manicure can be used to manipulate the body. Their work aims to highlight that nail extension technology can empower the femme body, create new language, and offer a new means of storytelling.
